The Old Lantern is an 8,000 square-foot Adirondack-style post and beam structure. It's frame was relocated from its original location in Jericho, Vermont in 1962. Now located in Charlotte's Village district, the Old Lantern has been a popular community gathering place for decades. The Old Lantern has a stage, bar, and the largest laminated maple dance floor in the state. There are four restrooms, a commercial kitchen and room for over 300 people. Excellently situated, the Old Lantern is only 15 miles from Burlington, and 20 from Middlebury. There is plenty of parking, and acres of beautifully landscaped grounds. Walk down the road for breathtaking views of the lake. |
